About

My name is Major General Greg Feest and I am the United States Air Force Chief of Safety and Commander of the Air Force Safety Center at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico.

I intend to use this site to help share opinions, insight, and updates on how the Air Force mitigates risk to our Airmen. I want this to be an open venue to talk about the value of risk management – in the air and on the ground; on-duty and off-duty.

I plan to talk about what we’re doing in Air Force Safety to save lives and will solicit your feedback and ideas. I will also discuss challenges, issues, and concerns that we face in the Air Force. In addition, I will ensure your ideas and feedback are also published. We need to hear your opinions as to whether you think we are on, or off, target. Since you’re reading our blog, I believe we share a tremendous mutual interest in Safety. Let’s work together to save lives!

Please be advised that the opinions expressed in this site do not necessarily reflect those of the U.S. Air Force. Comments will not be published if they include personal attacks; insults; personal messages to a group or person and those that advertise a product, group or Web site (other than the AF Safety website). Submissions must be accompanied by a valid name, location and e-mail address (e-mails are not included in the published comment or letter).

I look forward to the exchange of ideas! Remember, Air Force Safety is No Accident!
